Berkeley Rustic Birdhouses : Berkeley, California, USA

One of the artists formerly known as "the birdhouse guy" or "the guy who flew over the cuckoo's nest," Michael Parayno, has been making birdhouses since 1997 as part of a garden project on Sacramento Street across the North Berkeley BART Station (City of Berkeley Officials--liberal fascists) recently took down some of the street art). Neighbors enjoyed the birdhouses that he started selling them in December 2001. Hence, the business opened just in time for the birds living in the new millenium. He has been written up in twelve magazines and newspapers and his birdhouses are carried by Magic Gardens, Berkeley Horticultural Society, and Westbrae Nursery.
